Three indicted senior officers up for dismissal
The Rivers State Police Command says that it recommended three police officers for dismissal after subjecting them to an orderly room trial for their unprofessional conducts.
The affected officers are Inspector Michael Odey, and assistant superintendents Doubara Edonyabo and Talent Mungo respectively.
The disgraced officers are said to have extorted a man of $3,000. The officers, also in a separate incident, reportedly held a man down at gunpoint in a hotel in Lagos State.
They later led the man to a bank, where he was forced to transfer over ₦25million to a specific bank account.
A whistleblower, Harrison Gwamnishu had exposed the two incidents.
