Horrifying killings of five farmers revealed

A report has emerged of the grisly killing of five farmers by persons suspected to be cattle herders at Udedeku community of Benue State.

The incident happened last Sunday, according to eyewitness.

He said, “Five people were killed at the spots, many others sustained various degrees of injuries while houses were set ablaze,” said the eyewitness.

Terseer Ugbor, a House of Representatives member for Kwande/ Ushongo Federal Constituency, deplored the incident and urged law enforcement to arrest the killers.

Natives of the area and its surroundings are said to have faced persistent violence and killings.
