Buhari expresses satisfaction with Tinubu’s performance
Muhammadu Buhari, former Nigerian leader, has expressed his satisfaction with the President Bola Tinubu-led administration. Buhari is reported to have made the statement when Vice President Kashim Shettima paid him a visit in his Daura hometown, Katsina State, on Saturday.
“I am very pleased that they are able to stabilise the situation and continue to really get concerned about Nigerians. I am very happy about their performance,” Buhari said, as per the statement from Stanley Nkwocha, senior special assistant to the vice president.
On his party, VP Shettima assured the former president of the incumbent government’s “determination to secure their lives.”
He added, the “federal government will leave no stone unturned and will expend whatever resources that are needed to safeguard the lives and properties of the citizenry.”
In Shettima’s entourage were Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, and the former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, among others.
