APC N100m presidential forms decoy for amassing election war chest – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party has said the N 100 Million fee charged by the ruling All Progressives Congress for its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms was its decoy to amass “slush funds” meant for rigging the 2023 presidential election.

Debo Ologunagba, PDP spokesperson stated this in a statement the party issued after its National Executive Committee meeting, held on Wednesday.

The opposition said the APC is superintending “the mass looting of our national treasury and diversion of public funds through orchestrated purchase of APC Presidential Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms”.

The party said the party intends to use ” excessive N100 million to warehouse slush funds for APC to rig the 2023 general elections.”

“We restate our demand to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate all APC Presidential aspirants in this regard,” the party said.
