Female judge found hanging from ceiling in chilling suicide

A female judge has been found to have committed suicide, as a result of what officials termed to be mental stress.

She was expected to resume at her court by 10a.m. When not seen and her calls went unanswered, her colleagues became apprehensive about her whereabouts.

Getting to her house, her colleagues discovered her bedroom was locked from the inside.

They called the police into the situation. The police forced the door and was welcomed by the gory sight of the lifeless judge.

The judge was found hanging from a ceiling fan. The police recovered a suicide note and heaps of files.

She was only 27 years at the time of her death.

The corpse of the civil judge, identified as Jyotsna Rai, from Uttar Pradesh district of India, has been sent for post-mortem, according to local media.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jyotsna Rai, who hails from Mau district, was posted as Civil Judge (junior division) in Budaun in April last year. Before this, she was working as a judicial magistrate in Ayodhya.
