Woman killed while fighting rival over boyfriend

A woman has died during a scuffle with her rival over a man they both shared. The incident, which happened in Ghana, involved 28 year-old Vida Ennin and 25-year-old Mary Agyemang.

The two women fought after Mary accused Ennin of gossiping about her over the same man.

After a while, Mary allegedly left the scene to return with a knife with which she stabbed Ennin in her chest, breast, and palm. Ennin died of the attack.

The Ghana Police Service arrested Mary and two of her relatives. They accused the relatives of preventing Mary’s arrest.

The police would later arraign Mary and her relatives in court. After listening to the prosecution, the court gave an order for suspects remand in prison custody till they reappear on April 26.
