Tinubu shuts up naysayers as he returns from UK trip

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress returned to the country Thursday night, putting an end to the speculations about his alleged ill-health. Tinubu’s private jet touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He was received by his coterie of political associates including his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

Rumours of alleged ill-health had swirled around Tinubu. The presidential candidate had written on his Facebook wall last weekend: “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.

“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
