Three women, father of five killed in Benue

Report has that suspected assailants have killed three women and two men in the Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. One of the slain men was one Tyowooga Iorpuu-a father of five.

The residents said they suspected some herdsmen were behind the killings. Some of the victims were heading for fishing when the assailants attacked them last Thursday.

The assailants would return three days after, on Sunday, killing another set of villagers.

Christopher Waku, the chief security officer, Guma LGA, reportedly confirmed the incident.
