Mother from hell buries own baby alive
In a rather shocking development, a young mother Olivia Jonas decided to bury her newborn shortly after she delivered. Jonas had delivered the baby prematurely at eight months and by herself.
When her husband returned from his outing and asked about the pregnancy, Jonas told him she had a miscarriage.
The callous mother later developed complications needing medical care and was taken to the hospital.
She revealed to the doctors, following her questioning, what she had done to the infant.
With the lid blown off her atrocious deed, the doctors informed the police of the incident and they arrested Jonas.
She would later lead the police to the site she had buried the child and the corpse was exhumed for a proper burial.

The incident happened in Blantyre, Malawi. Local media reported a Police spokesperson, Jonathan Phillipo, as saying the suspect would be charged with concealing the child’s birth.
