Man inflicts machete wound on girlfriend for refusing sex
A man has inflicted machete cut on his girlfriend for refusing him sex. Â The man, identified as Bob, and his lover Akua Baduwa reportedly disagreed over sex.
Their disagreement escalated to the extent that the frisky man reached for a machete.
The 45-year-old Bob landed his weapon on Baduwa, who is nine years older than he is.
According to starrfm.com.gh, Bob cut Baduwa several times but she managed to escape before calling for help.
Her cry attracted their neighbours, who rushed her to a government hospital for treatment.
Bob seeing what he had done attempted to flee, but residents nabbed him. An irate mob descended on him and almost lynched him. The mob later handed him over to the police.
It is said that Bob might have been motivated by jealousy, having earlier sighted his girlfriend with another man before the incident.
