Kidnappers impersonating policemen arrested in Delta

The police in Delta State have arrested some persons believed to be part of a robbery and kidnapping syndicate.

According to Bright Edafe, the spokesperson for the command, said this in a tweet on Sunday.

The suspected criminals are said to usually drive in a Toyota Sienna bus and were being mistaken for either police operatives and vigilante.

Edafe in a thumbnail tweet on the arrest said, “We have arrested the syndicate that has been operating on a seinna vehicle in Ekpan and Warri, kidnapping and robbing unsuspecting persons who mistook them to be either policemen or vigilante.

“They have been identified by their victims, the guns attached were recovered from them.”
