Bamidele, Ndume, Umahi emerge senate leaders

Senator Opeyemi Bamidele has emerged the Majority Leader of the Senate.

The president of senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio announced Opeyemi’s appointment along with those of Senator Ali Ndume (deputy majority leader); Senator Dave Umahi (chief whip), and Senator Lola Asiru ( deputy chief whip).

Akpabio said the ruling All Progressives Congress caucus chose the senators based on consensus
