APC to hold indirect primaries, pegs presidential form at N100m
The All Progressives Congress has pegged its nomination form and expression of interest form at N70million and N30million respectively.
Also, the party fixed the nomination and expression of intent forms for house of assembly election at N1.5million and N500,000 respectively (total, N2million).
Similarly, aspirants contesting the house of representatives at N10million, ie N1m for the expression of interest form and N9million for the nomination form.
Aspirants for the senate are to pay N3million for expression of intent form and N17million for the nomination form.
For governorship aspirants, they are to pay N10million for expression of interest and N40million for nomination form.
The party took the decision at its national executive committee, NEC, meeting holding at the Transcorps Hilton Hotel, in Abuja.
In addition, the NEC of the party, which is its highest decision-making body, decided to transfer its powers to the National Working Committee for three months.
This, by implication, means the NWC has the power to decide the procedures for the primaries.
