Police go after abductors two undergraduates

Mohammmed Shehu, the spokesperson for the Zamfara police command, said the law enforcement are on the trial of abductors of two female undergraduates of the Federal University, Gusau, in Zamfara State.

The assailants abducted the two victims in their hostel on Sunday, after overpowering two guards.

The victims are identified with one name each: Maryam and Zainab.

Giving an insight into the incident, Shehu said the affected undergraduates from the school’s department of Microbiology.

As part of rescue effort, Shehu said that the command had deployed a tactical team for the purpose.
