Top APC chieftain gunned down

A top member of the All Progressives Congress, identified as Capt. Tony Enoch, has been shot dead in Imo state.

He had served in the party’s defunct presidential campaign council. Enoch, who hails from Oru East Local Government Area of the state as the state Governor Hope Uzodima was shot dead while retuning an APC stakeholders meeting, held at the Oru- East council headquarters.

Daily Independent is reporting that Enoch assailants after shooting him dead dumped his corpse in his car boot.

Neither the state government nor the Imo police command has issued an official statement regarding the incident.
