Taraba speaker resigns on ‘personal grounds’

Hon. Joseph Albasu Kunini, the speaker Taraba State House of Assembly, has resigned his position on “personal grounds”.

Hon. John Kizito Bonzena, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member representing Zing Constituency, replaces Kinini.

Deputy Speaker of the House, Hamman Adama Abdullahi, presided over the early morning plenary where he read Kunini’s resignation letter dated December 21.
