Student stabs teacher to death

A student suspected to be suffering from mental issues has stabbed a teacher to death in a classroom.

Daily Mail is reporting that the student attacked the 50-plus-years-old Spanish teacher at the Roman Catholic Saint-Thomas d’Aquin school in southwest France.

The 16-year-old pupil is said to burst into the class and attacked the teacher with a knife. She received emergency medical aid but eventually succumbed to her wounds and died.

A local media reported sources saying the attacker ‘was hearing voices’ when he launched the attack. The pupil himself reportedly told the police that he was ‘possessed by the devil’.
