3 biological brothers arrested for armed robbery

The police in Ogun state have arrested three biological brothers and another suspect for alleged armed robbery.

The brothers, named Hammed Jagbojagbo, Idris Jagbojagbo , Tobi Jagbojagbo, and another suspect Tosin Ogundeko, reportedly robbed a lotto agent of N90,000 at the Odi Olowo area of Ijebu Ode, in Ogun state.

‘The robbers also snatched a motorcycle from one Clement Conleth’, the police said.

Musiliu Doga, a chief superintendent and divisional police officer in charge of

Igbeba division, “quickly led his patrol team to the scene, gave the robbers a hot chase and succeeded in arresting one of them by name Tosin Ogundeko from whom the Bajaj motorcycle was recovered”.

Ogundeko reportedly led the law enforcement to arrest the three brothers, who reside in the Epe area of Lagos. Another suspect was said to have escaped.

“On interrogation, the suspects confessed been responsible for various motorcycle snatching operations in ijebu ode and its environs.

“They confessed they all based in Epe, but chose Ijebu Ode as their area of operation. Recovered from them are one cut to size locally gud and one bajaj motorcycle.”

The police said the suspects are under investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department.
