Slain police officers, other corpses found inside forest Â

The corpses of six persons killed by kidnappers, including those of three mobile police officers, have been recovered from a forest in Delta State.

The slain police officers were attached to the Inspector-General of Police Response Team, IRT, and drafted to the Police Mobile Force 51 Unit, in Oghara.

They met their deaths while responding to a distress call in Ohoror community, in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
As per Vanguard’s report, a security source said that the corpses were deposited at the Mariere Central Hospital’s morgue in Ughelli.

There has been no official confirmation of the recovery by the police.
