Pastor had sex with me repeatedly to cast out spell – churchgoer
A churchgoer, Aliu Blessing, has alleged a pastor belonging to the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, located at Agbado, in Ogun State, had sex with her multiple times, under the guise of casting out a spell from her life.
Blessing, who went missing after meeting the pastor, suddenly reappeared, revealing her ordeal to her uncle.
She claimed the pastor, identified only as Segun, told her anyone who slept with her would die, except himself. He also said he must have sex with her to be able to exorcise the spell from her life. According to Blessing, Sunday told her she would die on her wedding day, if she refused his sexual request.
Blessing decided to give in to the pastor advances after which she was not seen for seven months. She revealed Sunday falsely imprisoned her, taking her to a hotel and other places to sleep with her.
Omolola Odutola, spokesperson for the Ogun police command, confirmed the suspect’s arrest and assured he would be prosecuted for the offence.
“The suspect has been arrested, and he has since confessed to the crimes during interrogation. He is currently in our custody and will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is completed.
“The victim, on the other hand, had been taken to the hospital for medical examination after showing a psychological problem, or probably a psychiatric problem,” Odutola said.
