One shot as gunmen abduct lawmaker’s wife, kids
Suspected kidnappers, on Saturday, seized the wife and two children of a lawmaker in the Katsina House of Assembly.
They also shot at a guard; he is currently being at a hospital.
According to Daily Post, a source told it that the incident happened at about 11 pm.
“The bandits entered the house of our lawmaker, Dr. Ibrahim Kurami, to kidnap him but when they could not find him, they took his wife and two children instead,” said the alleged source.
Kurami represents Bakori Constituency in the state assembly.
The police, as stated in the report, are yet to comment on the incident.
