NYSC ducks enquiries on DG’s removal

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has ducked enquiries on the reported removal of its director-general Brigadier-General Mohammed Fadah.

Eddy Megwa, the spokesperson for the corps, had told curious media organisations seeking enquiries to await an official statement on the removal.

TheCable had reported President Muhammadu Buhari removed Fadah, quoting a presidency source for its story.

Fadah had only spent six months in the position, having being appointed in May, 2022.

A replacement is yet to be announced.
