Nigerians must collectively defeat terrorists – Tinubu

President-elect Bola Tinubu has deplored the terrorist attacks that took place in Zamfara and Kano states at the weekend.

TheCornet gathered that the rampaging terrorists killed a divisional police officer, an inspector and a member of the vigilante group during the attack in Maru Local Government of Zamfara State.

Equally, suspected assailants killed a village head in a grisly murder case. In his statement, Tinubu said Nigerians should collectively “defeat these merchants of death and terror once and for all.”

“Mindless killings and atrocities like this should have no place in our country,” he said.

He equally urged an investigation into the district head’s killing murder of the district.
