Man, his two wives beat assailant to death
A man and his two wives have beaten their assailant to death.
The assailants had reportedly invaded the premises of the unnamed man late at night.
The presence of the intruder led to their dogs barking ferociously. Alerted to the unrelenting barking, the man decided to check what was amiss.
Upon opening his doors, the assailant reportedly fired a gunshot at him. The gunshot hit the man but he not incapacitated, as he quickly lurched at his assailant.
The wounded man succeeded in overpowering his assailant while his two wives joined to beat him until he passed on.
The incident happened at Takorase Dagomba Electoral Area of Ghana.
According to local media, the police later arrived at the scene and recovered the assailant’s pistol, a knife, and some unspent bullets.
The police also recovered a mobile phone from the body of the assailant before conveying his corpse to the mortuary for preservation pending investigation.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, as he was said to have suffered gunshot wounds in his chest area.
