Kwankwaso in talks with Moghalu, 2 others after Peter Obi snub

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP) has opened discussion with one-time presidential hopeful Kingsley Moghalu.

Mogahalu, a former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), contested the presidency in 2019 but lost to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari. He also failed to get clinch the ticket of his estranged party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Aside Moghalu, Kwankwaso is reported to have held talks with Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State for the same purpose.

Kwankwaso’s search for a running mate started with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP). However, the talks failed over the refusal of both parties on who should be the standard bearer of the proposed joint ticket.
