School principal stabbed to death

The principal of South Africa’s Nelson Ngubeni Primary School, Michael Salie Mabena, has been stabbed to death. Local media reported that robbers, who invaded Mabena’s home, killed him and stole his vehicle and plasma television.

The incident occurred on May 8. The police said they found Mabena’s body in his bedroom with multiple stab wounds at approximately 21:30.

The police said that the suspects remain at large, and their identities are unknown.

Mabena’s school said his death saddened it while condoling his family and friends.
