Four undergraduates kidnapped

Some terrorists have kidnapped four 100-level students of the Nassarrawa State University, Keffi.

The incident took place between Monday and Tuesday, said Solomon Timmy, a student union’s leader.

He named the victims as Rahila Hanya (a student of the department of Science and Laboratory Technology), Josephine Gershon (Computer Science), Rosemary Samuel (Business administration) and Goodness Samuel (Geography).

In her response to the incident, Ramhan Nansel, the spokesperson for the state’s police command, said “the abduction in Angwan Kare” took place ” around 12:55 a.m.”

” We received information that an unknown number of gunmen have invaded a house at Angwan Karea,” he said.

The development comes after the recent abduction of four female students of the Federal University Dutsin Ma in Katsina State

Similarly, in September, kidnappers took hostage 24 students of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State, some of who have regained their freedom and others still in captivity of the terrorists.
