Elon Musk ‘to reabsorb’ dozens of sacked Twitter employees

Elon Musk, the new owner of the microblogging site Twitter, plans to reabsorb dozens of employees sacked on Friday. Musk acquired the social media platform for $44 billion acquisition.

Bloomberg News reports on Sunday that the billionaire owner of Tesla contacted some of the employees who were laid off by mistake.

The new Twitter management reportedly realized that the contacted employees’ work and experience might be necessary to build the new features Musk envisions. Among those affected by the purge were teams responsible for communications, content curation, human rights and machine learning ethics among others.

Twitter has not confirmed the report.
