Appeal Court upholds Adeleke’s election as Osun governor 

The Court of Appeal has restored Governor Ademola Adeleke as the duly elected governor of Osun State.

The three-man panel of justices, led by Muhammad Lawal, unanimously averred the election petitions tribunal erred by affirming in its ruling that former Governor Gboyega Oyetola proved the allegation of over-voting against Governor Adeleke.

The court also awarded N500, 000 fine against Oyetola.
