3 nabbed for trafficking 13-year-old into prostitution

Three women have been arrested for trafficking a 13-year-old minor into prostitution.

The suspects are named Nkiruka Ikechukwu,(30) Chidima Osita, (36) and Mrs. Ogugua (58).

According to the Delta state Police command, the suspects planned to send their victim “to another town for prostitution”. “Investigation revealed that they lure girls, deceive, and promise them better life, then divert them to Mali for prostitution,” the command tweeted.

According to UNAIDS, there are estimated 103,506 prostitutes in Nigeria.
