Four rescued in Lagos helicopter crash

Four persons including the pilot of an helicopter that crashed into Oba Akran Road, Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday escaped with their lives.

The crash took place infront of a branch of the United Bank for Africa (UBA).

Gboyega Akosile, the spokesperson for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, tweeted that the occupants were retrieved from the debris.

He said, “A helicopter containing four persons, including the pilot crash landed in front of the UBA branch in Ikeja. All four casualties have been retrieved from the aircraft alive. They have been transferred to the hospital for further care. LASEMA, Lagos Fire Service on the ground.”
