Reps debate bill extending validity of JAMB results
House of Representatives says it is considering a bill that will allow candidates for tertiary education admission use the result earlier obtained for subsequent application.
The law will effectively remove the financial burden of procuring fresh application forms during subsequent attempt.
The bill, sponsored by Hon. Tolu Sodipe, will eliminate the need for such candidates to sit for the same examinations again.
The amendment was contained in “The A BillĀ forĀ anĀ ActĀ toĀ AmendĀ theĀ JointĀ AdmissionĀ andĀ MatriculationĀ BoardĀ Act;Ā andĀ forĀ RelatedĀ Matters”, which has just passed second reading.
