  Two dead bodies pulled from Lagos building rubble

Two dead bodies have been pulled out from the rubble of a building that collapsed Sunday morning in the Lekki area of the Lagos metropolis.

Agency report quotes Ibrahim Farinloye, the southwest coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), as saying so.

Farinloye said the seven-storey building under construction collapsed at Oba Idowu Oniru Street, Lekki.

He said operations were ongoing to rescue the remaining trapped persons under the rubbles.

Emergency responders at the scene included the Nigerian Police Force, NEMA, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, State Fire Service and the Lagos State Building Control Agency.
