Three police officers arrested over jungle justice

The Adamawa State Police Command says it arrested three officers for partaking in the extra-judicial killing of two suspected witches.

Afolabi Babatola, the police commissioner for the state, said the officers’ unprofessional conduct shocked him.

A video had shown the affected officers along with others assaulting three women, two among whom they killed at the scene of the violent attack.

SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s spokesperson stated that the police equally apprehended 10 others involved in the grisly murder.
