Tambuwal defeats APC’s Danbaba to win senatorial seat
Governor of Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal, has defeated his main challenger, Senator Abdullahi Danbaba, to win the the Sokoto south senatorial seat.
The returning officer for the supplementĂ ry poll, Professor Abubakar Abdullahi Bagudo, said Tambuwal scored 100,860 votes as against Danbaba’s 97,884 votes.
Governor Tambuwal is on the twilight of his second term.
