Soludo cleared for Anambra guber race

Nigeria’s Supreme Court, on Thursday, affirmed Charles Soludo as the rightful governorship candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA).

Soludo, a former banker who became governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, is contesting the November 6 poll.

Jude Okeke, another governorship aspirant of the party, had asked the apex court to determine the actual candidate between Soludo and him.

In its ruling, the five-man Supreme Court panel, accused Okeke of abusing court processes and consequently awarded N1million against him.

The judgement also similarly affirmed Victor Oye as the party’s national chairman.
