Another building collapses in Lagos, one dead

A two-storey building under construction has collapsed at Freeman Street on the Lagos Island.

One person was retrieved dead as at the time of filing this report.

Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), and firefighters are currently at the scene of the incident.

The latest incident comes few weeks after a distressed three-storey building in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos State, killing 10 persons, including a member of the National Youth Service Corps.
