Missing senior police officer found dead inside bush

An inspector of police, identified with one name– Charles– has been found dead few weeks after he went missing.

Some assailants had reportedly waylaid Charles, who was an orderly to the former speaker of Imo state house of assembly, Hon. Chiji Collins.

Charles’ corpse was found in its decomposing state.

Aside he, the attackers also whisked away the driver of the vehicle they were travelling in during the incident that took place along the Ohaji/ Egbema area of the state. The driver too had been killed.
