Police exhume Mohbad’s corpse

The Lagos State Police have exhumed the corpse of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, otherwise known as Mohbad.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, “Mohbad’s corpse has been exhumed today, and an autopsy will begin as soon as possible.”

“The nurse is in our custody; I can confirm that,” he said.

TheCornet had reported the purported arrest of the nurse said to have injected the late singer.

A video of police patrol vehicle heading to the burial site and another of the singer’s empty grave have surfaced on social media.

The Lagos state police command had constituted a 13-man panel to investigate the late singer’s death.

The police said the team comprised seasoned homicide detectives, promising “a meticulous process that will deploy all requisite protocols (which may include exhumation), as well as technical and scientific tools that are vital to the detailed investigation of homicide allegations of this nature.”
