FG launches conditional cash transfer

Nigerian Government, on Tuesday, launched his ‘Renewed Hope’ Conditional Cash Transfer scheme.

President Bola Tinubu had announced the poverty alleviation programme would benefit 15 million households.  It is one of the economic relief package by the incumbent administration to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal.

George Akume, secretary to the federal government, led the programme held inside the State House, Abuja.
