Osinbajo anticipates defeat, exits convention ground

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo seems to anticipate his own defeat as rival, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu takes the lead at ongoing All Progressives Congress presidential primaries. Osinbajo has left the Eagle Square venue of the convention.

His exit comes several hours after President Muhammadu Buhari’s. The President left the venue with his wife, Aisha at about 1.30 a.m .

Meanwhile, counting of ballot continues at the convention ground.
