Married man stabs love rival to death
A married man has stabbed his love rival to death following an argument over a woman they were both seeing.
The suspect, Kofi Kwakye, stabbed Dominic Ofori, 33, with a knife in the chest. Kwakye was said to have accosted Ofori with the allegation that he was sleeping with his girlfriend.
Prior to their fatal encounter, Kwakye and Ofori had sometime fought over the same woman.
On the day of the incident, the two men met at a ghetto where they smoked weed. An altercation between them degenerated to a brawl and Ofori’s eventual death.
Seeing Ofori lifeless in the pool of blood, Kwakye bolted.
Youths in the community apprehended the suspect’s girlfriend, Sophia Adjiri, 30, for allegedly facilitating Kwakye’s escape.
She’s currently in the grips of the police.
Ofori’s body has since been deposited at a morgue while the police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
The incident occurred Sunday night at Akyem Achiase in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
