Buhari reappoints Adeyeye as NAFDAC DG

President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Professor Mojisola Adeyeye as the director-general of the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for a second term of office.

Adeyeye is expected to spend another five years at the agency. She is returning to her job after her initial appointment was not renewed.

Following Adeyeye’s exit, Dr. Monica Hemben Eimunjeze took over as acting NAFDAC DG.Â

The agency tweeted Adeyeye met with directors of the agency on Friday.
