Man rapes friend’s fiancée to death

A man has raped his friend’s fiancée to death. The suspected rapist Edwin Odada reportedly visited his friend, James Odour’s house while he was at work. Being a friend, Odour’s fiancée, Pamela Asesa, decided to let him into the house.

While in the house with Pamela, Odada raped Pamela, gagged, and strangled her to death.

Odour returned to the house at night, but could not gain access. Together with a neighbour, Odour broke the door, only to find Pamela dead on their bed.

He decided to inform the police of the incident. Investigation led to Odada’s arrest, having been seen exiting the apartment at 4pm on the fateful day. The investigation also revealed Odada was once living with Odour and his deceased fiancée. But, Odour evicted him because he attempted to rape his fiancée (Pamela).

Odada has since confessed to the murder. Before his current arrest, Odada was, in 2017, convicted for defilement but released after a successful appeal against the judgment.

The incident happened in Nairobi, Kenya, and the suspect, alongside another who bought Pamela’s stolen phone have been taken into police custody.
