Liverpool to sell Sadio Mane for £35m

Liverpool have agreed to sell Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich for £35.1m.

The deal will see Bayern put down an initial £27.5m, and a further £7.6 million in more realistic bonuses.

However, Liverpool will be required to wait until Tuesday at the earliest before rubberstamping any sale of their No. 10.

The deal eclipses what Liverpool paid for Mane – £31m plus £2.5m in add-ons.

Mane has been core to the club’s success over the past six seasons.

Mane is said to have given Bayern a verbal commitment last month.
