Lagos state Assembly laments colleague’s death
The Lagos state house of assembly has lamented the death of their colleague, Abdul-Sobur Olawale.
The deceased’s colleagues, in a statement signed by Hon. Setonji David, the chairman, Lagos State house of assembly committee on information, strategy and security, said that his “death really hit us below the belt.”
“We will all miss him more than words can express,” the statement read. The lawmaker reportedly slumped on his way to the airport in Jos, Plateau state, after attending the flag off of the Bola Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign.
Until his death, he represented the Mushin II state constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
