Kidnappers free two victims after N6m ransom paymentÂ

Kidnappers have freed two victims, Samuel Oyedotun and Tobiloba Fashola after paying a ransom demand of N6m.

The criminals, who initially demanded N25m before freeing their victims, subsequently accepted a reduced ransom.

Samuel and Tobiloba were abducted at gunpoint at Ede/Ileoogbo road in Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State last Wednesday.

A source allegedly said the ransom was delivered at a spot bordering Kogi and Kwara states.

Yemisi Opalola, the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, confirmed the victim’s release.
