Gunmen abduct king, shoots maid dead Â

ÂGunmen have kidnapped the traditional ruler of Oghara, in Kabba, Kogi state, David Obadofin, and his aide, Temidayo.

They also shot dead a maid, identified as Toyin Onare during the attack. Â

William Aya, spokesperson for the state’s police command, said the gunmen struck around 3am, shooting sporadically in the palace.

The police said they were on the trail of the kidnappers and would rescue the victims.
