Police unveil Chibuike, Ndubuisi, other carjackers terrorizing Lagos

The Lagos police command has revealed the names of four criminals arrested for carjacking operating along Iba-Igando and Egbeda axis of the metropolis.

The suspects are Victor Chibuike (26) aka Azaman; Kingsley Ndubuisi (33) aka kango; Augustine James, (29); and Lateef Babatunde (33).

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the police command, said the operatives, on August 7, received a distress call that the criminals disposed some citizens of their 2010 Lexus RX 350 SUV, 2006 Toyota Camry saloon car, an IPhone and other valuables at gun point.

Upon receiving the complaints, Hundeyin said the police moved swiftly to the crime scene.

The outcome was the arrest of the suspects from whom the police recovered 3 locally made pistols, 1 locally made semi-automatic pistol and 12 live cartridges.

“Investigations reveal (sic) that the suspects were notorious for robbing their victims of their valuables and vehicles along the Iba-Igando-Egbeda axis of Lagos State.

“Efforts are ongoing to arrest their criminal receiver of stolen goods, and possible recovery of other items stolen by the gang in the past,” said Hundeyin, adding the “suspects will be arraigned at the end of investigation.”
