Catholic priest kidnapped

A catholic priest has been kidnapped in Kaduna State, after gunmen invaded a mission house.

A report said the suspected gunmen seized the priest, Rev Fr Joseph Shekari, in Chawai area, in the Kauru Local Government Area of the state.

They were said to have killed the priest’s cook during the attack.

Details about the incident are sketchy as at press time.
